Vermicomposting and Waste Cycling on a Small Farm
The George Jones Farm and Nature Preserve in Oberlin, Ohio demonstrates a wide-range of strategies that leverage wastes generated both on the farm and in the community to build soil fertility. Aaron Englander went from an Oberlin College Farm intern to farm manager from 2007-2009. Here he talks about his experience with vermicomposting and other organic waste management systems on the farm.
