Learn how to cultivate naturally occurring, beneficial mico-organisms. Make your own organic fertilizer and learn techniques for revitalizing and renewing depleted or contaminated soils. Also, learn new farming and gardening techniques that are in harmony with nature and build community.
The workshop will be taught by Aaron Englander, using techniques perfected by Korean Master Farmer Han-kyu Cho. Aaron graduated from Oberlin College and was the head farmer for the George Jones Farm through 2009. Click here for driving directions to the farm.
The workshop will be held at the George Jones Farm April 9-10. The workshop will be 9-12pm and 1-4pm each day. The workshop is $99 for the weekend ($75 for students). One-day options are also available at $55 ($40 for students). Make checks payable to George Jones Farm and mail to MPO Box 357 Oberlin, OH 44074 to reserve your spot.
